We sort to 11 different categories. We containerize our first five categories* in 42” diameter x 39” & 36” (No.5’s) high, heavy wire canisters on 42” x 44” clean wooden-pallets, with each unit weighing approximately 3200 lbs. We keep strict quality control by finalizing each sort by hand.

1’s: 1 ½” to 3”
Special Sort 2’s: 3”-5”;
2’s: 4”-7”
3’s: 5”-9 ½”

From our reclaimed Merced River-bottom acreage, below Yosemite, on and from which we retrieve, process, sell and deliver quality multi-colored River Rock (Cobble), we inventory approximately twenty-five, eighteen-wheeler truck-loads (15 pallets each, 450 pallets total) of beautifully hand-sorted rock. The color of this rock has been heightened because it has been above ground for 6 to 9 decades. (It’s a result of the first half of the 20th century dredger mining for gold!). |
